Solidarity Pilgrimage
to the Border 

Join Virago Strategies and Abara House alongside other justice leaders to listen, learn, and be strengthened. Border Encounter trips are educational immersive trips designed to rehumanize relationships outside the news cycle. We will explore, listen, reflect and learn on what the border can teach us, and what we can hear differently - as we seek to create physical and relational spaces of connection on the border.

The programming will take place January 27-28 (Tuesday and Wednesday). Please make plans to fly in the night before and we suggest you stay through Thursday morning, as we won’t wrap up on Wednesday until 7:30pm.

Cost per person including hotel/overnight accommodations:

Virago Strategies Abara border trip costs include lodging, food and transportation.

• Individual room: $1250 not including flight/transportation to or from the airport

• 2 to a room: $1000 not including flight/transportation to or from airport

• Local ministry room (1-3 to a unit): $800 not including flight/transportation to or from airport
